Book NowMontebello Golf Course has a rich history that goes back to 1928, when it was built as an enterprising country club designed by Max Behr, (Golf Course Architect). In 1941 the City of Montebello purchased the course and is now proud of this opportunity to welcome you, the patrons from local and distant communities, to our Montebello Municipal Golf Course.

On September 14, 2022, the Montebello City Council unanimously voted in favor of funding the Montebello Golf Course Improvement Project which will enhance the design, architecture, and functionality of the current golf course. The project will re-invent over 72 acres of the existing public golf course and expand hours of operation. The year-long renovations are projected to be complete by September, 2023.
Montebello Golf Course closes on September 26, 2022, and will remain closed until improvements are finished. For more information about this project, call (323) 887-4540.
